How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies?

These vegan chocolate chip cookies are incredibly easy to make – can be ready in 25 minutes! Find the ingredients and steps below:

Baking Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop of Garden of Life Raw Organic Proteins in Vanilla
  • ½ cup of whole wheat flour
  • ½ tsp of baking soda
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • ½ cup of unsalted vegan butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp of flaxseed
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ½ tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 bag of chocolate chips
  • Optional: ½ cup of chopped walnuts

Instructions

1.

Preheat your oven to 175°C.

Mix the flaxseed with 6tbsp of water and set aside for 5 minutes.

3.

In a large mixing bowl, add vegan protein powder, whole wheat flour, salt and baking soda.

4.

Add melted vegan butter, sugar, and vanilla extract together in a separate bowl, and beat until creamy.

5.

Add half of the flaxseed at a time, mixing fully before adding the other half.

6.

Slowly beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.

7.

Drop 2 tbsp of dough 5 cm apart onto baking sheets.

8.

Put the baking sheets with dough into the preheated oven and bake for 9-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.

9.

Let cool for around 2 minutes before removing cookies from the sheets and placing them on cooling racks.
